Well it wasn't a bank holiday to be remembered for the ages but at least the weather was OK-ish. Sorry if you spent your long weekend sheltering from torrential downpours in a muddy festival field. I retired from festivalling a couple of years back and while there things I miss - awesome live bands, banter and beer in the sunshine - when the rain comes down I know I made the right decision. I do not miss mud, porter loos or fear of trench foot. Still I measure my summers by the festival schedule and it's not over until Bestival! Two more weeks guys - don't put that BBQ away yet.
