I often wonder why it is we choose to go on holiday when Britain is at its best? I’m off to Vietnam this summer and while England is pretty, leafy and lovely, I will be sweating it out in 40 degree heat, fending off super-sized mozzies and getting sun burnt (I’ve mentioned my inability to tan before, I’m sure). I’m not complaining though (I admit that may have sounded a tad whingy), I’m very excited to go. I just wish I was escaping bleak January wind, rain and biting cold instead. It’s 23-weeks until Christmas by the way. Make as much of our lovely summer as you can!
