I don’t expect sympathy. I’m slumped at my desk bemoaning my lack of energy but I know I only have myself to blame. This weekend I wore myself out with some hardcore gardening. I know! Rock ‘n’ Roll, right? It may not be sexy but it sure burns the calories at least. I’m glad I got my work out sorted because Sunday saw me munching my way through a feast of American snacks in celebration of The Super Bowl. Those New Orleans’ boys sure know how to rock gold jeggings! I have to say, on balance, I prefer the World Cup, the Euros or the FA Cup final. 90mins of sport is enough – over 3hrs is just excessive. And that’s the second reason I can barely keep my eyes open. I need more sleep!
