Diets: Quality and quantity
Hi, I found a diet on your website which says I can lose up to 5kg in 5 weeks and I'm a little sceptical. How on earth will I be able to lose all that eating carbs and snacking, when I can't lose a gramme surviving on salad and yoghurt? Help!
It's hard to compare two diets without mentioning quantities - you could very well put on weight eating salads and yoghurts if you ate a lot, and lose weight eating a 'normal' diet if you ate little enough. It's all about portion size, the only way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you use up, so eating less and exercising more should show results fairly quickly.
