Forgotten pill

Hi,
I'm on the pill, and I wanted to know about the risk of pregnancy if I miss the first pill in the packet. I took it the day afterwards, within 12 hours of when I should have taken it, but then I forgot to take the next one, and that was a week ago, so I'm one pill behind. Basically, instead of taking Monday's, I'm on Tuesday's and so on.

Carry on taking your pills regularly, but you may not be fully protected for the first eight days, so make sure you use condoms as well. As long as you take the missed pill within 12 hours, you will usually be OK, but taking extra precautions won't do any harm.
