Swimming and Chlorine

I swim twice a week and find that my hair is brittle from all the chlorine. What products do you recommend to protect it from the chlorine?

It is important to wash your hair carefully after swimming, using a gentle, pH neutral shampoo. Invest in salon quality products, such as Keristase: When it comes to shampoo, spending a bit more money guarentees quality. Good brands such as this one make a range of products for chlorine and sun exposure. Wearing a swimming cap will definitely help matters, also have your hair trimmed regularly if you have split ends. If you are blonde, it is especially important to remove chlorine, if not you may end up with a green tinge.
