Second day curls
How do I keep my curls the day after I have set them? I have naturally wavy hair, which I wash every other day. When I dry it, I use a little gel to set my curls. But the by following day my hair is flat and dry. If I dampen my hair and use gel it goes disgusting and if I use mousse it dries out. I dream of having bouncy, supple curls all the time and would love to know if there is something I could use to make them last.
I am surprised that re-styling your hair gives such bad results. It could well be down to your choice of products, as they are not ideal for dry, frizzy hair. You need to keep your hair well nourished if you want supple, bouncy curls. Use a hair mask regularly, to revitalise your curls, and invest in a serum, which will protect against dryness when you style your hair.
