Amenorrhoea after having a baby.

I had a baby on 15th January, 2004 and my period came back after about a month. Since then, I haven't had any more, but I know I'm not pregnant. What's going on? Thank you for your help.

It is normal not to have periods (amenorrhoea) whilst you are breastfeeding.
If you are not breastfeeding, your periods should have returned by now. This may point to a hormonal imbalance following pregnancy, so make an appointment to see your doctor.
It would be a good idea to take a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. If you are having regular sex without contraception, you can still become pregnant, even if you have just had a baby.
