Pregnancy and smoking
Hello. I'm 32 and 30 weeks pregnant. Since the beginning of my pregnancy, I've been stressing about the fact that I can't stop smoking. I feel so pathetic, I can't even cut down. I'm very worried for the health of my baby, even though the first two scans showed he was healthy. I'm sleeping very badly, worrying, having nightmares, and starting to feel quite depressed about it. Is it normal to be having such dark thoughts? Is it too late to stop smoking? Help me. Thanks.
Try not to feel guilty, you'll only make your general health worse. It's never too late to stop smoking. If you're having nightmares, go to your doctor to find out about therapy to help you overcome the problem. Your doctor will also be able to help you stop smoking.
