I'd like to know which way it is best to shave my arm pits and bikini line.

It is best to shave in the same direction as hair growth: It causes less drag on the razor and is less traumatic for the skin. Shaving against hair growth often causes redness and skin burn, however it does cut hair shorter. I would recommend that you shave in the direction of hair growth, and be sure always to use a sharp blade.
