Hyaluronic Acid
A friend of mine mentioned that it is used to get rid of facial lines… What is it and how does it work?
Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the skin, where it acts to keep the epidermis hydrated. It can be used as an alternative to collagen, to smooth out facial lines, especially those on the forehead and around the mouth. Sometimes it can be used to combat acne scarring. The acid is injected into the trouble spot with a fine needle, being natural it is accepted by the body and eventually breaks down.
