Fear of giving birth and having a baby.

I want to have a baby soon, but I have a terrible fear of giving birth and I'm already worrying about it. What is the pain like and how much does an epidural help?

Until your desire to have a baby is greater than your fear of giving birth, you are not ready to have children. Like anything else, the pain of childbirth is subjective and depends on the individual, some women find it unbearable, while others compare it to period pain.
An epidural is an anaesthetic, which will stop any pain from the waist down.
