Babies and cats.

I am due in June and we have two cats. Unfortunately, we don't have a separate bedroom for the baby yet, will our cats harm his development at all?

Having a cat in the same room as a new-born baby can be dangerous. Cats like to find warm places, so they may think the baby's cot looks like a cosy place to sleep and snuggle up a little too close, maybe even smothering your baby. Never leave your baby unattended in room with the cats.
