Vaginal infection
Hello! I'll soon be 18, and I'm writing to you because I've had a problem for some time now. My vaginal discharge has changed colour from white to yellow, sometimes even brown. And it smells bad too, which I don't understand as I keep myself very clean. I started my periods at 12 if that's any help, but they've always been very irregular, and i'm on the pill to regulate my cycle. There's something else which worries me, I have little bits of 'stuff' round my vagina quite often - I don't know how to describe it, apart from to say that it looks like dried chewing gum. Sometimes they've big, about a centimetre across - what is it, help! I'm still a virgin. Bye!
You're showing signs of a vaginal infection, which should be treated without further ado. An internal examination at the doctor's will help diagnose the problem, make an appointment as soon as possible so that this doesn't go any further and affect your fertility. It won't be an STD if you've never had sex, don't worry!
