Hypofertility.
I have been trying for a baby with my husband since May, but we have had no luck. I have never used contraceptives,so do we need to worry? Should we go to the doctor's and find out about fertility treatments or wait?
Thank you for your help.
A couple need to have been regularly trying for a baby for at least a year without contraception, before a doctor will begin to investigate the causes of hypofertility, so you need to keep trying for a little longer. Take your temperature every morning when you wake up for two or three cycles, as this may be helpful to the doctor later on. There are often psychological reasons for not conceiving, so try not to think about it too often. Carry on with your normal life, relax as much as you can to get rid of any stress, which can have a profound effect.
