Makeup for a job interview
I have an interview next week, for a job that I really want. Please could I have advice on makeup, hair and clothes, to ensure I make a good first impression.
First impressions are important, and your interviewer is going to register all your first moves. Be sure to look smart; if you have a suit, wear it, teamed with sensible heels. If you don't have a suit, a skirt is better than trousers. Team with a smart top, and avoid bright colours. Make sure your hair is clean, brushed and out of your face. If you are inclined to fiddle with it, tie it up. I would also suggest that you give yourself a manicure as hands are very important. Now for the makeup: It wants to be simple yet sophisticated, smart yeat natural. Stick to soft, muted colours and don't overdo it. Here are a few tips: An eyebrow pencil will help define your look, use 2 layers of mascara to really open your eyes, stick to a natural lip colour. It is hard to give you specific advice, as I don't have a description of you. Remember to hold your shoulders back and walk tall. Be confident and enjoy the experience.
