Panda Eyes

I have a real panda-eye problem. No matter what mascara I use, it always seems to shed onto the area below my eye by mid afternoon. It makes me look a total state and people in the office keep commenting… what can I do?

Mascara can be a nightmare. Panda eyes are generally caused by the oils in the delicate eye area. Your skin releases these oils throughout the day, the result being that mascara dust sticks to your face and you end up looking like you've come into work after a heavy night before. Use an eye cream, morning and night to balance the oils in your skin. After applying your makeup, dust the under-eye area with a little powder, this will stop the oils breaking through and trapping your mascara on your skin. Invest in a quality, creamy mascara. Generally speaking, it only has a 6 month shelf life once opened, and if you use an old mascara you will notice that it is dry and cakey. Never pump the wand in the tube before applyng mascara... it is not necessary and only acts to dry it further, by forcing air into the tube.
