Makeup > Coloured Skin Makeup for very dark skin I have very dark skin, a round face, plump lips and black eyes. Please can I have some makeup tips! If your skin is really very dark, the trick is to play with matt/shine. Study your face and decide which points on your face you would like to highlight… the cheekbones, eyelids, the centre of your forehead, the tip of your chin etc. Choose golds and honeys over very strong colours. Use a powder to make your face matt, and apply the highlighter (of your choice) with your fingers, to those areas. Define your eyes with an eyeliner and use 2 lashings of mascara to make them look wide open. Use a honey colour on your lips, avoid red. Play with your look, and have fun... all you have to do now is practice!.
