Painful breasts and pregnancy.
I'm a 35 year-old mum of two, five weeks pregnant with my third. For about a week, I've had a pain in my right breast. I went to the doctor, who examined both breasts and told me that it was normal, because my breasts were swelling and adjusting to the pregnancy. Why do you think only one of them hurts?! Thanks.
Sometimes, two breasts on the same woman will have completely different levels of hormone sensitivity, so don't be surprised if one is more tender than the other throughout your pregnancy. If you keep an eye on your breasts, you should find that by the end they will be the same identical. If the pain worsens, go back to your doctor.
