Aerobics and varicose veins

I would like to know how you get varicose veins.
Can sports like aerobics cause them? Or can aerobics get rid of them?

There are two kinds of varicose veins: primary, which usually occur in younger people, are down to dilation of the veins in the main system, and secondary, which is caused by a blockage in the deep venous system.
Your veins may be genetic, ask your parents about it.
Making certain lifestyle changes will help: avoid standing for long periods, walk regularly, take exercise, keep your weight down, take cool showers and avoid exposing that area to the sun. As exercise, aerobics can only do you good.
