Child slapped my a teacher.

My five-year old daughter was recently slapped by one of her teachers at school. What can I do?

Try to minimise the impact of the event for your daughter. Speak to her about what happened, why it happened and how she feels about it, but stay calm, do not dramatise the event.
Speak to the teacher involved or the head teacher directly, do not involve your child at this stage, as it is important that she still respects authority.
