Stretch Marks & Sun

Hello, I am a new mum, with 3 questions about stretch marks: 1) When they are still pink, is it best to keep them out of the sun? 2) How long does it take for them to turn white? 3) How can I prevent stretch marks in the future?

Stretch marks can take upto a year to fade from red to white. They are like scars and should be treated as such - keep them out of the sun until they have healed. It is a good idea to put block on your stretch maks. The best way to prevent further stretch marks, is not to put on weight. Eat a healthy diet and keep yourself well hydrated.
