Scar Removal
As s result of several operations, I have two long, ugly scars on the outer and inner thigh of my left leg. I am already worrying about summer, as I can't bear the idea of wearing shorts or a swimming costume. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?
As I'm sure your doctors have told you, it is pretty much impossible to totally eradicate scars, especially those of major surgery. If you want to persue treatment, be sure to consult doctors who are a member of BAPS - the British Association of Pastic Surgeons. I can understand you insecurities about donning a bathing suit, but it is our imprefections which make us beautiful and unique. Wear a big smile with that bikini and you'll soon feel a million dollars.
