Nail varnish does not really damage nails, although pigment will stain them yellow over time. In order to protect your nails, you should always use a clear base-coat underneath your polish. Do not simply remove one colour and use another, take time to give yourelf a decent manicure/pedicure, use almond oil to nourish your nails.
