Super Sleek Hair
My hair is something I spend very little time or attention on. I would love to be able to have sleek, shiny hair and a mate of mine suggested I buy some straighteners. I have neither the time, nor the inclination to spend ages ironing my hair... what would you recommend?
You may spend very little time styling your hair, but it is still important to keep it in good condition. Straighteners are very useful for achieving a sleek look, but some of them do frazzle your hair, and others are not that efficient. I would recommend that you invest in a pair of GHD (good hair day) professional ceramic straighteners. At around 80 pounds, they are not cheap, but they really are considered the best, here's why: They heat to 210 degrees in just a few seconds, meaning that you can have that super sleek look in no time at all. The ceramic plates won't burn your hair or create static, in fact they seal the moisture and natural oils into your hair for an ultra-smooth finish. When using strighteners, ensure that your hair is completely dry. You need to smooth it in segments, so start by tying your hair into a half ponytail, and straightening the underneath. I find that the look is often too sleek as soon as it is done, however, it does mean that your hair always look groomed and fantastic in the morning.
