Pregnancy and Allergy to Sun

Hi,
For the last three years I have suffered from a sun allergy, which only ever comes up underneath my eyes and on my chest area. It stings in the same way as stinging nettle rash does, and I wanted to know what I could take for it. Would skin-preparing pills work, that people take to condition their skins for the sun before going on holiday, and would they be safe for a woman who is three months pregnant?

The only way to ease your symptoms, is not to expose yourself to the sun. If you're pregnant, your face may also come up in brown blotches in the sun, which can sometimes last your whole pregnancy. I'm sorry, but there isn't anything you can do to get rid of them, there is no treatment on the market at the moment which is safe for pregnant women.
