Jeweller Elsa Peretti has been designing exclusively for Tiffany & Co since 1974 and in recognition of her outstanding contribution, the Old Bond Street branch is staging an exhibition of her creations and the British Museum is hosting a temporary display this month.

Elsa's work has always been influenced by Japan and she continues to make many of new current pieces there. One of her first collections for Tiffany & Co was inspired by human bones and her iconic bone cuff (right) is still available today, having originally been launched in 1974.
©Elsa Peretti | The Teardrop Collection reflects Elsa's understated approach - solid shapes echoing nature; "reminiscent of a solitary raindrop or a shining bead of morning dew". These range from simple silver interpretations to luxurious, diamond-encrusted versions. For pared-down perfection, the Round collection offers exquisitely uncomplicated explorations of shapes in black lacquer, silver and gold.
Homewares include bold paper weights (from £55), but if you really want to indulge yourself with an iconic example of Peretti accessory design, her solid silver bubble blower is a joy to behold (below right, £110).
