No relationship is perfect and sometimes that in-love feeling doesn't last forever but that doesn't stop us from wanting to know to how to keep the love alive in our relationships for as long as possible.

There are lots of reasons that couples break up, rushing into things and arguing too much seem to be at the top, but the experts say that the main reason is having an unrealistic perception of what being in a relationship really looks like.

"These included thinking that arguing is bad, sex should be perfect and that your partner should understand you." says Denise.
