Eyebrows
were everywhere - thick, long and defined, they
framed the face like elegant brushstrokes towards
the temples. Cult make-up artist Stéphane
Marais used a pencil at Christian Lacroix, while
Pat Mc Grath gave a nod to Audrey Hepburn at
Valentino. Chanel produced the most Frida Khalo-like
look, with heavy, dark brows.
The focus on eyes was universal, with a Cleopatra
look at Dior, Maria Callas eyeliner at Valentino
and smoky eyes at Franck Sorbier. False eyelashes
in bold colours popped up at Stéphane
Saunier.
