Pale,
sculpted faces played with light and shade at
Christian Lacroix, Valentino and Giorgio Armani,
while over at Chanel, skin took on a powdered
17th century look. Dior drew on Rembrandt for
inspiration, showing luminous faces in a palette
of pink. Inner beauty shone through on pure, simple
faces at Adeline André, while JPG went
to the other end of the spectrum, with mask make-up
and Sahara-hot colours for his African-themed
