Made in Blighty

 - Made in Blighty
'Is Any Thing Made in Britain Any More Or Is It Just Pants?' Is the question on comedian Dom Joly's T-shirt as he embarks on a new television adventure starting on June 8.

Dom invites us into his Cotswolds home where he will room by room remove everything that hasn't been Made in Britain and replace it with homemade artefacts ranging from cosmetics to curtains. Two-thirds of the contents of his cottage are removed, including his beloved Italian coffee machine, his Japanese telly and his bed!

Wearing wellies and a Savile Row suit, Dom will roam the land in search of genuinely manufactured in Britain replacements for his home.

The journey takes him, with the help of a Morgan car, to a waterbed manufacturer and to creators of Lava lamps. How will he replace his electrical goods with British versions? We expect his kitchen cupboards will be filled with Yorkshire Tea, Tunnocks biscuits and Pot Noodles. It will be interesting to see across the six shows how his stylish home will be transformed by the 100% British makeover!

Made In Britain is on the Blighty Channel on Sky 534 and Virgin TV 206 at 8pm.
