The act of giving money can mean different things in different situations.
Giving money to someone usually means that the dreamer is, or should be appreciating the person more. Maybe you have dreamt about giving money to your mother - this could mean that you should pick up the phone and find out how she is!

Paying off debts is a sign that the dreamer is aware of their predicament and knows what steps have to be taken to sort out their problems.
