Alicia Keys has spoken about her "bliss" at becoming a mother. The 29-year-old singer - who gave birth to Egypt, her first child with husband Swizz Beatz, on Thursday (14.10.10) - is astonished by the depth of her feelings for the infant. She tweeted: "There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!! (sic)" The 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker went on to thank her fans for their supportive messages. She added: "Thank U 4 your love, support and prayers! (sic)" Swizz - who also has sons Prince Nasir Dean, Kaseem Dean Jr. and daughter Nicole, from previous relationships - also took to twitter to thank his fans and praise his "superwoman" wife. He wrote: "Much love for all the support everybody been showing but I want to shout out my Wife for being bigger then SUPERWOMAN!#GODSGIFT. (sic)" Shortly after Alicia gave birth, Swizz - whose real name is Kaseem Dean - made an excited post on the social networking website. He tweeted: "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww! (sic)" |
