Brad Pitt to finally marry Angelina Jolie this weekend?Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sparked speculation that they will finally tie the knot this weekend.
The pair have been together over seven years and originally said that had no intention to wed until the legalisation of same-sex marriage in America.
But Brad recently admitted that they were feeling mounting pressure from their brood of six to make things official.
This week there have been preparations for a huge party at Brangelina’s £35million estate in the south of France, which has led many to believe that the Hollywood power couple are preparing to marry at the Chateau Miraval this weekend. As well as the couple’s children, Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, five-year-old Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, aged three, guests including Brad's parents and best friend George Clooney have arrived at the chateau ahead of the bash. The jeweller responsible for Angelina’s $250,000 diamond and platinum engagement ring, Robert Procop, is also thought to be in attendance. A source told The Sun: “Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now. “They say it’s for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweller is here.” The source added: “There’s a real buzz around the estate.” The 1,000 acre French estate where the family live is set in the beautiful Provence landscape and is the perfect spot for a secluded family wedding away from paparazzi intrusion. Some think that the notoriously private couple will perform the nuptials in a private chapel on the grounds of their home, as civil ceremonies are only allowed to take place in a town hall in France. It has long been speculated that the pair will to hold their wedding in France, as following the couple’s engagement announcement back in April, building works have been underway to construct a huge reception hall on the estate. Back in January Brad told the Hollywood Reporter: “It seems to mean more and more to our kids. “We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to [get married] till everyone can. “But I don't think we'll be able to hold out ... it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.” Angelina has also previously said that their children often ask why they aren't married like “Shrek and Fiona”. She added: “We've explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have. “Once you have six children, you're committed.” It certainly sounds like wedding bells to us! |
