Wedding mania: Anne Hathaway and Cat Deeley marry in secretThis weekend saw not one, but three celebrity weddings, as Anne Hathaway, Cat Deeley and Holly Valance all took a trip down the aisle.
The Dark Knight Rises actress Anne married Adam Shulman in an intimate ceremony in front of 100 friends and family in Big Sur, California.
The pair tied the knot on a private estate and according to People.com the Les Miserables star wore an off-the-shoulder, vintage inspired gown designed by Valentino.
The 29-year-old reportedly hired Natalie Portman’s wedding planner to help her hash out her perfect nuptials, which took many by surprise as Anne had claimed they would not get married until 2013 because of her work commitments.
She previously told Hello magazine: “We're getting married, probably sometime next year-ish. Not this year, it’s too big with two films coming out. “I haven't started planning yet. I was filming Les Mis when we decided to do it, and there was no way I could think about anything wedding-related with my head in the space it was in then." TV presenter Cat Deeley’s nuptials to Patrick Kielty was the most surprising of the lot, as the couple only went public with their relationship in May. The pair, who have been friends for over a decade, exchanged vows in a secret Italian ceremony in Rome attended by only their closest family and friends. The 35-year-old So You Think You Can Dance host reportedly wore a stunning ruffled dress with flowers in her hair. Several weeks ago Northern Irish TV host Patrick, 41, denied rumours he had popped the question after Cat was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger at an Emmys party. The couple - who live together in her £1.7 million Beverly Hills mansion - were first romantically linked in February after they went on holiday together. Former Neighbours actress Holly Valance also wed her fiancé Nick Candy this weekend in Los Angeles, but theirs was a much more lavish affair. Friends and family flew for the big day from Australia and the UK and 300 guests including Simon Cowell were taken to the wedding in blacked-out mini-buses. Holly wore an elaborate meringue-style wedding dress with a bodice top and carried a dark red bouquet to wed British billionaire property developer Nick. For the big day the Aussie actress was determined to be in the best shape of her life, and a source revealed to the MailOnline: "She keeps pictures of her dream wedding dress around in case she's wavering. “She hates not being able to enjoy herself at posh restaurants with Nick and she's treated herself a couple of times but she's doing really well.” The ceremony was only one part of a three-day celebratory weekend planned by the couple.
