Brad Pitt congratulates Jennifer Aniston on her engagementBrad Pitt is said to have called up ex-wife Jennifer Aniston after finding out she was getting married.
Former Friends star Jen got engaged to actor Justin Theroux, 41, this weekend - and Brad wanted to ensure they knew he was happy about the news. A source tells The Mirror: “Brad gave Jen a quick call to say how pleased he was to hear that she was getting married.
“He jokingly asked if he should ‘save the date’, and they both laughed, but told her in all seriousness that he was really happy for her and Justin. "He wished her luck and told her he hopes they’re very happy together."
Jen reportedly returned the well-wishes as Brad is set to marry Angelina Jolie, 37, any day now. Brad, 48, and 43-year-old Jen divorced in 2005 so they're not in touch "that often", though the actress had kept in touch with one member of her former hubby's family. The source continued: “Jen does still chat to his mum, Jane, so there are rumours in Hollywood that she will make an appearance at the wedding. "But the guest list hasn’t even been started yet, so it’s too early to say for sure.” |
