Carly Rae Jepsen took to Twitter yesterday to deny starring in an alleged
sex tape that's been leaked online.
The footage, which is claimed to be of the 26-year-old singer, shows a woman posing topless and performing
oral sex on a man.
The unidentified female looks remarkably like Carly Rae with a heavy
fringe hair style.
The Call Me Maybe singer has been quick to slam reports, tweeting: “Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a
sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me.”
Even though Carly Rae has said the video is a fake, Perez Hilton has posted on his blog a series of screen grabs from the saucy clip alleging that it’s her.
But the celebrity blogger later took back his allegations, writing: “Obviously, the quality of the clip isn't very helpful at determining whether or not the girl is, in fact, Carly, or just some other petite
brunette girl with sleek bangs.”
This isn’t the first
sex scandal the popstar has had to deal with.
A series of naked pictures were previously made public showing a girl with pierced nipples - but Carly also denied that these photos were her.
But, things aren’t all bad for the Canadian songstress as on Sunday she won two surfboard trophies at the
Teen Choice Awards 2012 for Best New Artist and Summer Song.
After the ceremony she tweeted her followers: “Wow. What an amazing night. I'm going to need to learn how to surf. Choice Breakout Artist and Choice Summer Song! Thanks to the fans!”
