Chantelle Houghton: Alex Reid walked out on me and DollyThings don't seem to be getting any better for Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid.Chantelle, 28, recently admitted things has become "strained" between her and the cage fighter - and now relations have gone from bad to worse.
Chantelle wrote in her New! magazine column: "I can confirm that Alex did leave our house last week. He stayed at his mum’s and didn’t come back for a week." The couple welcomed their first child together, Dolly, in June following a fraught pregnancy that saw Chantelle temporarily leave the home they share. But they decided to give things another go - and it seems Chantelle and Alex aren't ready to give up just yet.
Chantelle added: "Now he’s back but that’s all I want to say about it at the moment." The pair had a huge bust-up last month after Alex's former business partner alleged that the cage fighter behaved inappropriately towards him and even tried to kiss him. Reports followed that Chantelle had had enough and even told friends she'd prefer to raise a child alone than with 37-year-old Alex. Now magazine reports Chantelle told friends: "I'll walk out if things don't get better. "I want it to work for Dolly's sake, but I won't stay if I'm this miserable. I might have rushed into it. I don't want to marry if I'll be unhappy. I'd rather be a single mum." |
