Backing dancer Tre had ignored Cheryl's warnings during final rehearsals for her debut concert at Belfast's Odyssey Arena - with disastrous consequences.
She then added with a cheeky wink: “He’ll learn to listen to me.” Cheryl, 28, was first linked to 27-year-old Tre back in August, after they were spotted on a string of dates together.
But their romance was reportedly doubted by Cheryl's protective mum, Joan. A friend told The Sun: “It’s early days and she isn’t 100 per cent sure of Tre yet. He looks good on Cheryl’s arm but Joan fears he will not be there for her long term.” Joan is understandably protective of her daughter since her divorce from Ashley Cole, 31, two years ago. The Geordie singer and her footballer husband broke up amid claims he'd cheated with a number of women. The friend added: “Any man dating Cheryl should be aware they have to pass the vigorous test and standards set by Joan. “She sees herself as more of a protecting force than ever. As it stands Tre has a long way to go before he is accepted.” |
