Christian Bale has revealed that although his 7-year-old daughter Emmaline is unable to watch him in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises movie, she loves it when the actor puts on his husky Batman voice for her.
The Oscar-winning star will soon be seen in the final instalment of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy, and although he plays a fierce vigilante in the Batman series, it’s clear that Christian is a soft touch in real life.
The doting dad told the Daily Mirror: “It's a kick for her and her friends when I do the Batman voice for them and chase them around pretending to be Batman.
“Although she loves me doing the Batman voice she still takes the p*** out of my British accent. I think past a certain age you can't get rid of it no matter what you do.”
He continued: “My daughter loves it because she thinks it sounds so silly.
"She's not really old enough to watch any of the movies so she hasn't seen them yet. But she's seen some pictures, she'd come and visit the set.”
Although Christian is more known for taking on serious roles, he's confessed that hanging out with his little girl has helped to put him in touch with his silly side.
The actor explained: “My daughter is crazy about art so we draw, paint and sculpt together. She's just nuts about it. And she has me dancing and singing to songs I never imagined I would be dancing and singing to.
“One of her favourites is LMFAO so I'm even doing that.”
Hopefully in The Dark Knight Rises outtakes we’ll get to catch a glimpse of Christian dancing to ‘Sexy And I Know It’ in his Batman suit!
