Ellie Goulding lands Geordie Shore cameoEllie Goulding will make an unlikely appearance in the new series of Geordie Shore.The Anything Could Happen singer, who's a huge fan of the show, landed the cameo when she saw approached the cast on a night out in Newcastle.
Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattinson, 24, told The Sun: "Ellie was doing a show at the Metro arena and she came to the same club we were in afterwards and made a beeline for us. "She wasted no time telling us what a massive fan she is and went in to great depth, talking about storylines and everything. "So in the end we gave her a cameo. She was a lovely girl and it was great to meet her and have her involved with the show." Ellie has admitted in the past that she's addicted to the reality programme, which follows a group of young people who move in to a Newcastle home together. Ellie, 25, admitted: "I'm obsessed with it. They just live to party, go and get tans, go to the gym and go out drinking, but I love it. "I think my friends think I'm a bit weird. It's fascinating." Ellie will probably be spending more time in front of the TV now as it's been revealed that she's split from her US-based electronic musician boyfriend, Skrillex. The pair had been dating for seven months, but the distance between the pair was blamed for their break up. A source told The Sun: "It's really sad, they were really good for each other. They just couldn't make it work. They both have successful careers and live in different countries." |
