Although she keeps her clothes on when the cameras are about, The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins has revealed that off camera she’s actually a bit of a nudist!
The 30-year-old reality star especially enjoys walking around her house naked, which probably pleases her current squeeze and TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent.
Gemma revealed to The Sun: “I’m always getting dressed up for different events so when I’m in my own territory, I like to let it all hang out and shake what your mama gave you.”
The plus-sized
fashion designer has had a very public struggle with her weight, but it seems like she has finally made peace with being a fuller-figured woman.
She candidly explained: “I just looked in the mirror and thought: ‘Sod it.’ It’s better to be happy in life than unhappy.”
“I feel really happy at the moment. I’m exercising loads, not to be stick thin but just to feel better.”
Gemma has become known for her larger-than-life personality and womanly curves, but she reveals that comments on her size have gotten her down in the past.
“I was basically a normal girl next door but due to heartache I was a comfort eater. With TOWIE and a few nasty comments, I had a wake-up call and became more aware of myself.”
Since joining The Only Way Is Essex Gemma’s world has changed dramatically, but the reality star isn’t about to get carried away by her new found fame.
She explained: “You have to put things into perspective. We’re reality Essex people.
“We aren’t Posh and Becks or
Madonna. We have to be realistic. My feet are firmly on the ground.”
