Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley welcome baby girlGuy Richie and Jacqui Ainsley are celebrating the safe arrival of their second child together.
Model Jacqui - who welcomed son Rafael with Guy 14 months ago - gave birth to a little girl in a private London hospital.
A spokesperson for Guy told MailOnline: "We can confirm that Guy and Jacqui are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well." Film director Guy has two other children - Rocco, 12, and adopted son David, seven, from his marriage to Madonna.
Guy and 30-year-old Jacqui got engaged in October and are said to be thrilled with their new daughter. A friend told The Sun: “They are both utterly delighted at the birth. "The fact they now have a girl is an added bonus - Guy always wanted a boy and a girl.” Jacqui's pregnancy came as a shock when she first displayed her baby bump at the London premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in August - just 11 months after Rafael's birth. Guy, 44, split from Madonna after eight years of marriage in 2008 and started dating Essex girl Jacqui in 2010. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows director Guy recently said of his love life: "I enjoyed my first marriage. It's definitely not something I regret. "The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take." He added: "But you move on, don't you? You're right, I stepped into a soap opera, and I lived in it for quite a long period of my life. "I'll probably be more eloquent on it 10 years from now." |
