Justin Bieber accused of battering photographer

The teen star has been accused of physically battering a photographer after he took photos of him and girlfriend Selena Gomez after a date night out.

Now the Los Angeles County sheriff deputies want to question the star to find out what happened.

On Sunday night deputies were called to Justin Bieber's home town of Calabasas in California when there were reports by a man who claimed to have had an incident with Justin Bieber.

The man, a celebrity photographer, claimed Justin physically battered him.

And seeing as during the spat Justin lost a shoe and his cap - it sounds like things got pretty heated.

Justin's 19-year-old girlfriend Selena had to calm him down afterwards.

Justin has tried to keep his image clean but it's not the first time he's been accused of brat behaviour. The star left a bad impression on Radio 1's Scott Mills who said he was a "precocious little brat."

And last year he dodged claims that he had fathered the child of one of his fans.
