Justin Bieber single? Tweet appears to confirm he's split from Selena GomezJustin Bieber has dropped a rather strong hint that he's no longer dating Selena Gomez.
The Canadian singer sparked rumours he’s unattached when he posted a pensive black and white picture to his Instagram account. Alongside the photo was the word "lingse" - an anagram of "single". But it seems Justin, 18, was uncomfortable about his apparent admission because he quickly removed the image.
Instead, he uploaded a second picture of himself looking in the mirror and wrote: "Just me". Justin and Selena first stepped out as a couple at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in February 2011.
The pair were first rumoured to have split in May this year, when Disney star Selena was seen crying at lunch with friends. She had reportedly just told friends she and Justin had broken up. And months later, in September, reporters were banned from asking Justin about the 19-year-old.
Some of Justin's 29,681,476 Twitter followers have been desperate to know what's going on. One wrote: "What???? Single? Just me ?? @justinbieber what happened with selena??" Another posted: "So a lot of people are saying that you and Selena broke up, and I was wondering if it was true?" Despite all the rumours, Selena has mentioned Justin in her interview with the December issue of US Glamour magazine - albeit briefly. She revealed that she tries her hardest to keep in touch with Justin and her best friend Taylor Swift when work gets busy. She said: “If it gets too dire, I fly to Taylor or I fly home or I fly to Justin." |
