Hair hero: Kate Moss gives out makeovers at Claridge's
The 38-year-old supermodel came to the aid of a fellow guest, who suffered a malfunction when her 'magic sponge' - a hair accessory used to create a stylish bun - failed to stay in place at a charity event at the plush London hotel. A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''The girl's hair had started coming loose from her bun and one of her pals mentioned that you could see her 'magic sponge'. ''Kate took pity on the poor girl who was struggling to fix it and took matters into her own hands. ''She told her, 'I can't let another woman go out there with her sponge showing. Ah ha what a hero Miss Moss is! If only our sponges showed us up more often... Kate came to the hair rescue of the girl, grabbed hold of her, set her in front of the mirror and whipped out all the hairpins holding her hairdo in place and started again from scratch. ''Within minutes, she was standing back, admiring her handiwork and telling her she was good to go.'' Later that evening, Kate, who attended the Marie Curie Cancer Care fundraising dinner with her husband Jamie Hince, helped Ronnie Wood to auction his own self-portrait for the good cause, before taking to the dancefloor. What a do gooder that Kate Moss is! Don't you just love her? We're now obsessed and will be wearing magic sponges in the hopes that when they let us down, Kate Moss might just be there to save the day... Swoon! |
