The 'One That Got Away' hitmaker - who was handed divorce papers by the comedian late last month - "really identifies" with the characters' emotional worries, and is even seeking inspiration from the show's costumes for her own stage appearances. An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Katy's obsessed with the series and its characters, but it's a way of escaping what's going on between her and Russell. She really identifies with the romance and the emotional angst and she loves all the costumes. "She is even basing some of her new stage outfits on 'Downton'. She's told her designers to work on them, and on the hairstyles." However, Katy is not the only A-lister to love the show, as Laura Carmichael - who plays Lady Edith Crawley in 'Downton' - recently explained Hollywood star Harrison Ford is keen to bag a role. She said: "We're so popular Harrison Ford wants a part." Meanwhile, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts is equally "obsessed" with the series to the extent that she feels it's "real life". She explained: "I'm obsessed with that show. I would love to be in it, even if it was just for one episode. It's so amazing, I actually feel like it's real life. My friends all think I'm really weird."
