Katy Perry and John Mayer pictured on intimate dinner dateKaty Perry definitely seems to have a ‘type’ after being photographed on a dinner date in Los Angeles with long-haired, dishevelled star John Mayer.
John, who looks remarkably like Katy’s scruffy ex-husband Russell Brand, took the 27-year-old out for an intimate dinner date and then on to celebrity hotspot Chateau Marmont.
Katy wore a cute white lace dress and the pair were pictured smiling and laughing together, looking very much at ease in each other’s company.
Katy and John, 34, were first rumoured to be a couple after being photographed grabbing pizza together last month. A few weeks later US Weekly reported that the pair were at a party in Soho House and were said to be “affectionate, holding hands and cuddling.” Gravity singer John is no stranger to dating famous women, having previously been linked to Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson. Since splitting from Russell Brand, Katy was rumoured to be seeing male model Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence And The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd. Meanwhile comedian Russell is now dating Isabella Brewster, the sister of Dallas actress Jordana, who he met at his yoga class in Los Angeles. Katy and Russell’s divorce was only made official last month, despite the 37-year-old funnyman announcing the split just after Christmas. In an interview for Elle magazine this month, the Firework singer admitted that despite her divorce, she still believes in love. Talking about her romantic life, Katy said: “I'm a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that.” |
