Katy Perry and Russell Brand attended the same basketball match last night.The evening marked the closest the pair have come in public since Russell announced their divorce at the end of last year.

Fortunately, the former couple weren't sat near enough to each other to have a chat/argument - though they're bound to have exchanged a few awkward glances.Katy was at the LA Lakers game with her dad Keith Hudson, while Russell Brand spent time with David Beckham.
Comedian Russell appears to be getting close to David and his family.Earlier this week, he caught up with David's wife Victoria and got to know baby Harper as he watched an LA Galaxy soccer match.
It wasn't too long ago that Russell hinted at a rather unhealthy obsession with David (not that we can blame him).
The 37-year-old, who's recently been snapped with a different woman on his arm each week - is a big fan of Becks' recent campaign for his H&M underwear line.Russell told an audience in LA: "David Beckham is a God. Just look at him in those underwear ads. I'm not gay but I would eat food off his body. "Preferably something that needs to be mopped up, like egg. I'd eat it off his stomach."It seems Russ has fully recovered from his split with Katy, which was announced after just 14 months of marriage.Russell said in a statement in December 2011: "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
