Rob is currently Down Under filming his new movie The Rover, while Kristen is in LA spending time with loved ones.
The Twilight co-stars split up at the beginning of this month after their relationship failed to get back on track following Kristen's cheating last summer. But Kristen, 22, won't give up on her man without a fight. A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Kristen is really missing Rob. Regardless of their 'romantic' relationship, they are still really good friends.
"That is something that won't change. Kristen is not ready to say goodbye to this relationship and will do whatever it takes to make it work.
Kristen and Rob split briefly last year after photos emerged of the actress kissing married director Rupert Sanders. After a series of heart-to-hearts, Rob managed to forgive his unfaithful girlfriend and the pair were reunited to promote the final Twilight movie together. But just weeks later the couple were reported to be having problems after Rob, 26, struggled to trust Kristen again. And Rob's temporary move to Australia in 2013 finally put an end to things - but it seems this might not be the case for long. The source added: "She is counting down the minutes until he is home. He loves her, but he wants to work, too - which is understandable." While Rob is away, Rupert - whose wife Liberty Ross is divorcing him - is allegedly trying to get back in touch with Kristen. But desperate to make things work with Rob, Kristen is reportedly ignoring 42-year-old Rupert's texts and emails. A source told The Sun: "Rupert’s reached out to Kristen, but she doesn’t want anything to do with him. “He texted her a number of times after Liberty filed for divorce, however Kristen didn’t respond. "In truth, she regrets ever getting involved with Rupert, because of how much it hurt Robert and the amount of public backlash she was subjected to." |
