Lady Gaga to join The Simpsons
In the episode Lady Gaga takes the Gaga Express train to good old Springfield where she tries to lift Lisa Simpson's spirits - telling her how being unique is better than being like everyone else after Lisa becomes a social outcast. You wouldn't think that Lady Gaga ever got nervous but she told reporters at Entertainment Weekly that she was a bit nerved up when recording her lines for the show. She said: "I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humour." She added that doing the show would certainly make her dad proud, saying: "I would say this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. My dad’s probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out." In other news Lady Gaga has debuted a brand new hair do - an out size pony tail which she wore as she arrived in Japan at the Narita airport yesterday - ahead of a tour of Asia. Lady Gaga will play three shows this week in Saitama, north of Tokyo. |
