One Direction star Louis Tomlinson "in trouble for speeding"One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is close to losing his licence after being pulled over for speeding on the way to V Festival last weekend.
The 20-year-old singer was reportedly caught doing 48mph in a 40 zone when he was pulled over by vigilant police officers.
As this is the One Thing singer’s first driving penalty, he will get three points on his licence and an £80 fine.
But seeing as Louis passed his test less than two years ago, if he gets one more speeding conviction he will have his licence revoked.
A source told The Sun: “Louis told friends he’s learnt his lesson and will be extra careful from now on. “His girlfriend Eleanor Calder is at uni in Manchester and he drives up to see her so he doesn’t want a ban.” Meanwhile, Louis’ One Direction bandmates Niall Horan and Liam Payne managed to avoid getting in trouble with the law this weekend at V Festival in Chelmsford. Niall made the most of his single status, reportedly staying up until 4am with a gaggle of girls in his tent on Saturday night. Liam was on his best behaviour with his dancer girlfriend Danielle Peazer in tow, although he took a minute to weigh in on the recent Tom Daley Twitter abuse scandal. He told The Sun: “I heard about that troll and thought it was awful. So I got Tom’s number and we arranged a great night out.” Aww, Liam is a sweetheart - perhaps he can get Tom to join One Direction now that the Olympics have finished, with his boyband good looks we think the bronze medal diver will fit right in! |
